Since the early 80’s, Punk Rock music has had a home here among Tucsonans. We have had our fair share of killer bands come and go from the early years of the Tucson Punk scene. One of those bands is still active and playing to this day.  

The immortal Blood Spasm has been a Tucson staple since, well, Tucson has had staples. With Bob Spasm at the wheel of this ship, they have been playing gigs in and around southern Arizona since before calling yourself a punk rocker was cool. Through tragedy, lineup changes and the ever shifting local music scene, Blood Spasm has remained true to the sound that made them what they are today: 100% punk rock!
